Battle Royale Game Darwin Project Is Now Free to Play on Xbox One

First revealed for the Xbox One back at E3 2017, battle royale game Darwin Project is now going free-to-play on Xbox One. It was previously available on the console, but not for free.

Back on June 20, Scavengers Studio announced that the Darwin Project would be transitioning to a free-to-play model on July 4 (freedom, y’all). The game was removed from the storefront back on June 25, but is back now with no price tag.

“If you own Darwin Project, you’ll receive the Founder’s Pack,” the studio revealed. Here’s what the Founder’s Pack contains:



Patch 1.11.1 has now arrived on the Xbox One version of the Darwin Project (it’s also available on Steam), and brings with it the ability to invite a friend into the Duos mode.
