Is Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 going to be the first 5G smartphone? Lin Ben, the company’s CEO teased a picture of the upcoming phablet, which wouldn’t be such surprising if not for the enabled “5G” sign that can be seen in the status bar.

Considering that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 is expected to be introduced on the market in October, it’s quite unusual for it to include 5G support, as the latest reports claim the first 5G phones won’t be ready until early 2019.

In any case, if you’re just as hyped about Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship as we are, here is a short hands-on video that shows how the pop-up camera section at the top of the Mi Mix 3 works.
