Some petrolheads don’t like electric cars because they don’t have the roar of an engine burning fossil fuel. EVs are definitely quieter but they still have a sound and I think some of them are pretty cool.
After watching this new video, now I think the Tesla Semi electric truck prototype accelerating with a trailer is one of the coolest EV sounds yet.
We have been tracking the Tesla Semi prototype over the last few weeks. It drove to J.B. Hunt in Arkansas almost 2,000 miles away from its home base and then to UPS’ hub in Addison, Illinois, which is about 600 miles north from J.B. Hunt in Arkansas.
Last month, we reported that the Tesla Semi prototype was now in Des Moines, Iowa – more than 300 miles from UPS.
Later, the electric truck prototype traveled another 580 miles or so and stopped at Tesla’s Supercharger station in Brush, Colorado.
