Since its launch in July 2016, Pokemon Go has been a strictly PvE affair – but that’s about to change.
On the game’s official Twitter account, Niantic confirmed that Trainer Battles are coming to the game soon.
In additional Tweets, Niantic, revealed that Trainer Battles will involve three leagues: Great, Ultra, and Master. The leagues will be divided by CP, with the Great League capped at 1,500 CP per Pokemon, the Ultra League capped at 2,500 CP per Pokemon, and no limit on the Master League.
