Epic has been talking about this for a long, long time, but they finally have cracked the code, it seems. Fortnite has finally rolled out account merging across all platforms, meaning that if you’ve created two accounts for multiple places, namely PS4, you can now erase the one you don’t want while retaining all your cosmetics and V-bucks. Pretty solid.

It’s not the easiest process in the world and there are a number of prerequisites to make this work.

  • You need to have a Switch/Xbox account and a PS4 account played before the end of September of 2018.
  • You can’t be banned, you need to have access to all emails associated with all accounts.
  • It’s going to take two week for your stuff to migrate accounts so don’t expect it to be instant.

You’re going to need to pick one primary account and one secondary account, and it’s going to be the secondary account that’s erased from existence and all your stuff will then be ported over to your primary after the two week window is up.
